Bring on the pain, they say

With the recent pro carbon tax rallies around Australia, I wonder how these people think. They clearly think there’s a problem that requires our collective effort to solve. They’re doing it for the kids. Admirable intentions, sure, but most are either ignorant of or dismissive of the other side of the argument. When they use terms like “carbon” and “pollution”, their ignorance is clear.

I can’t understand how they think that a tax will solve what they perceive to be the “greatest moral challenge of our time”. This guy seems to have it worked out. Perhaps the thought of any action is enough to earn their support.

There is one thing the protesters seem to have no quarrels with, and that is paying more for everything. Bring on the pain, they say. It’s like exercise, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Australian Climate Madness has suggested that they could pay for the rest of us. I wonder how that would go down with these protesters.

About Climate Nonconformist

Hi, I'm the climatenonconformist (not my real name), and I am a global warming skeptic, among the few in generation Y. With Australia facing the prospect of a carbon tax, we need to be asking the simple question; where is the evidence that our emissions are causing any dangerous warming?
