Flogging a dead horse

We are told the science is “settled” and we have to act on”climate change”. It’s not, but for some deluded people, it is settled. One of the authors of the hockey stick paper, which has now descended into a joke, still thinks it relevant. Despite the thorough kicking it has been handed by Stephen McIntyre and Ross McKitrick, Raymond Bradley has defended this disgrace to science. ‘Scientifically, “the hockey stick is a brick outhouse, very robust,’’ as Bradley put it. As one comment on ‘Watts up with that’ put it; “the hockey stick is a brick outhouse… full of s**t.” The latter quote is definitely closer to the truth.

Yes, this scientific untruth will not go away. Will Steffen used it in his presentation to the government. John Cook still believes in hockey sticks like a child believes in Santa. You’d think that the alarmists would get tired of flogging a dead horse, but I guess with their argument falling to pieces around them, they would like to hold onto some little part of it.

About Climate Nonconformist

Hi, I'm the climatenonconformist (not my real name), and I am a global warming skeptic, among the few in generation Y. With Australia facing the prospect of a carbon tax, we need to be asking the simple question; where is the evidence that our emissions are causing any dangerous warming?
