Climate Fool of the Week #1

Inspired the Before the Games’s tool of the week, I am starting ‘Climate Fool of the Week’, to be given to the warmist/alarmist who makes the biggest fool of themselves in the past week. The prize is nothing but shame.

The first winner of this award is Simon Sheikh of GetUp for blackmailing the Australian Food and Grocery Council. In threatening a mass boycott of companies that don’t stick to the GetUp line, he has only served to prove that he is a bully. It may yet backfire on him too. GetUp boasts half a million members, most of whom will not do as the GetUp dictator director commands. Furthermore, there is a campaign to support the companies that oppose the carbon dioxide tax, the one’s on Sheikh’s list.

A dishonourable mention goes to Professor Will Steffan of ANU for stating he is appalled at debate. It is a disgusting remark from a scientist. Were is not for Sheikh’s blackmail, he would have won/lost by a country mile.

About Climate Nonconformist

Hi, I'm the climatenonconformist (not my real name), and I am a global warming skeptic, among the few in generation Y. With Australia facing the prospect of a carbon tax, we need to be asking the simple question; where is the evidence that our emissions are causing any dangerous warming?
