Climate Fool of the Week #8

Labor lost its way long ago, but this week we saw just how far they’ve strayed. In parliament, Anthony Albanese, in mocking the Convoy of No-confidence, insulted what was once their main support base, the workers who may lose their jobs because of this carbon tax. This led to ear-piercing laughter from his labor colleagues. So, therefore Albanese (and the rest of the labor party) are the climate fools of the week.

In addition to sharing this week’s main award, Greg Combet also gets a dishonourable mention, for labelling Tony Abbott racist over his opposition to the carbon tax.

“It is in effect a white carbon policy designed to harvest more votes no matter what the cost.”

It’s the old leftie defence, ‘shut up, you’re a racist’. Thanks to Grumpy for the nomination.

A second dishonourable mention to Bill McKibben for blaming Hurricane Irene on global warming. Anything to sell the message.

About Climate Nonconformist

Hi, I'm the climatenonconformist (not my real name), and I am a global warming skeptic, among the few in generation Y. With Australia facing the prospect of a carbon tax, we need to be asking the simple question; where is the evidence that our emissions are causing any dangerous warming?
