Climate Fool of the Week #13

Ian Chubb has made a massive fool of himself this week. The following quotes surely justify his place as chief scientist.

For example, you don’t get the Arctic ice melt just by natural events. You can’t reproduce it through modelling if you just factor in natural events. But if you factor in human activity, then you get what’s happening and you get the reduction.

With respect to this cooling stuff, I have seen the claim, but the evidence that I have seen is that the last decade has been the warmest decade that we have ever had on this planet, so I do not know what this cooling stuff means.

That’s just this week, earning him the Climate Fool Award. ACM has a whole list of similar gaffs.

Also, just heard this on the Grand Final Breakfast. What does the federal government have in common with Fremantle? They stabbed their leaders in the back and replaced them with someone less popular.

And also, Go Cats!

About Climate Nonconformist

Hi, I'm the climatenonconformist (not my real name), and I am a global warming skeptic, among the few in generation Y. With Australia facing the prospect of a carbon tax, we need to be asking the simple question; where is the evidence that our emissions are causing any dangerous warming?
