I see what you did there

Subliminal messages (maybe?) on A Current Affair, in a story promoting the Bureau of Meteorology’s new forecast website. We saw our old mate David Karoly, discussing the weather events of the previous year and the prospects of more this year. La Nina was identified as the culprit for the Queensland floods and as such, to his credit, Karoly refrained from the alarmism for which he is notorious, but there was a glaring message evident in the background. There was a bookshelf with all the books having the spine facing outwards, save for one. A book that with large capital letters entitled “CLIMATE CHANGE”. Am I looking too much into this or is it conceivable that there was a hidden message? As Karoly talked La Nina, the carbon dioxide motif found its way into the minds of the audience.

There was another example of the global warming agenda being inserted into a weather story, with the text “climate change” visible for an extended period as we were shown the BoM website. I’ll admit that this one is more likely to be a coincidence, but what is clear is that in a story that had nothing to do with global warming/climate change, the point was made, intentionally or not.

It brings to mind some other sneaky tactics from the warmist crowd.

About Climate Nonconformist

Hi, I'm the climatenonconformist (not my real name), and I am a global warming skeptic, among the few in generation Y. With Australia facing the prospect of a carbon tax, we need to be asking the simple question; where is the evidence that our emissions are causing any dangerous warming?
