Queensland Election- funny stuff!

All through the night we kept hearing about possible disaster scenarios for Labor; 20 seats, 15 seats, a cricket team? No one predicted that they would retain only 7 or 8. This is a netball team, and with all of their best talent knocked out of the game, a junior one at that. I for one, find this hilarious. And perhaps just as satisfying, the Greens lost a bit of ground. It would probably be too optimistic to expect this kind of result come the next federal election, but I’d imagine there would be a few federal Labor MPs who would be weighing up their career prospects right now.

Clive Palmer is certainly happy about the result, and perhaps a tad intoxicated as well.

About Climate Nonconformist

Hi, I'm the climatenonconformist (not my real name), and I am a global warming skeptic, among the few in generation Y. With Australia facing the prospect of a carbon tax, we need to be asking the simple question; where is the evidence that our emissions are causing any dangerous warming?
