A Green dissents

Victorian Greens MP Greg Barber, who refused to rule out a $500/tonne carbon tax, makes a gaffe. From todays Herald Sun:

Perhaps it was the pressure of a hard-fought by-election or difficulties with this new fangled interweb thingy, but Greens MP Greg Barber (right) seems to have suffered a brain explosion. Facebook friends of the party’s paramount leader who this week visited the FB page devoted to getting Melburnians to VOTE 1 JENNIFER KANIS – the Labor candidate – were astonished to find Comrade Barber had “liked” the page. Let’s hope he didn’t make the same mistake in the polling booth.

Looks like Barber backed the winning team. Labor won that by-election.

About Climate Nonconformist

Hi, I'm the climatenonconformist (not my real name), and I am a global warming skeptic, among the few in generation Y. With Australia facing the prospect of a carbon tax, we need to be asking the simple question; where is the evidence that our emissions are causing any dangerous warming?
